Joachim Baca joined bwin in 2004 and served as COO from 2006. Previously he had been engaged in e commerce business, leading various projects for Red Bull GmbH and Marchfifteen AG. As COO, Joachim Baca has steered the company through a period of rapid growth, as bwin transitioned from a start-up to an industry leader. He was instrumental in consolidating operations and leading product development. Joachim Baca was an integral part of the bwin management team, overseeing key business functions such as products and services, technology, organisational development and human resources.
